The Whistler Film Festival is offering "Stay, Ski & See" weekend accommodation packages for the sixth annual fest November 30 to December 3. Prices for two-night and three-night packages, which include a Cinematic 6-Pack, adult ski lift tickets and accommodation at a choice of Whistler hotels and resorts, from $285 to $347 (approximately $255 to $310 USD) per person. To book the packages visit www.whistler.com/wff or call 1-866-612-6145.

"Our new Stay, Ski and See packages are designed with the skier and snowboarder in mind," says festival director Shauna Hardy Mishaw. "Film screenings take place in the afternoon and evening, enabling festival-goers to hit the slopes early in the day and watch movies that night."

Participating hotels include the Adara Hotel, Coast Whistler Hotel, Crystal Lodge, Delta Whistler Village Suites, Executive Inn, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Four Season Resort & Spa, Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa, Listel Hotel Whistler, Pan Pacific Hotels, ResortQuest Properties, Stoney Creek Resort Properties, Summit Lodge & Spa, Sundial Hotel, Tantalus Lodge, Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler Village Inn + Suites, and Wildflower Lodging.

Accommodation packages include the Cinematic 6-Pack, which let festival-goers choose and attend six films at the fest, and a 2-day adult ski lift ticket. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy and subject to taxes and availability. USD prices are calculated at a 1.12 exchange rate.

Whistler is consistently ranked the number one ski resort in North America and is hosting several events in the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2006 Whistler Film Festival announces this year's program line-up on Tuesday, November 7. The festival showcases 80+ films, including premieres from some of North America's top directors, and awards over $40,000 in prizes and commissions. This premier event also features innovative industry programming through the Whistler Filmmaker Forum, presented by Bell, informal networking opportunities, cool parties and special events.

The festival's online box office is now open for advance pass sales. Online and charge-by-phone ticket sales open for credit card sales only on November 8. The Whistler Box Office opens for walk-in and phone sales on November 15.

The sixth annual Whistler Film Festival, presented by American Express, runs from November 30 to December 3, 2006.
